Work Programming Consultation Process PDF 979 KB The Co-ordinating Scrutiny Group to finalise Work Programming Consultation Process for the three Scrutiny Committees Minutes: At the Chairs invitation the Deputy Democratic Services Manager (DDSM) presented the report and advised of two amendments to the wording for the Committees consideration.
The DDSM invited the Overview and Scrutiny Co-ordinating Group to ask questions and discuss the report.
The Overview and Scrutiny Co-ordinating Group discussed and considered the merits of extending the Proposed List of Groups that would be consulted with a view to maximising the coverage of the Consultation Work Programming. Deliberation included the addition of Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust (NHFT), Northampton General Trust and the Police. The Committee authorised the DDSM to make the amendments, which included any further additional organisations presented by the Committee members and the DDSM would present a draft of amendments for the Committees ratification.
Consideration was given by the Overview and Scrutiny Co-ordinating Group to the language used in the draft on-line questionnaire. The Committee required this to reflect the work that had already been carried out by the Council and should be reworded by the DDSM.
The Overview and Scrutiny Co-ordinating Group agreed that, once a resident had expressed an interest, they should be provided with a channel through which they would be kept informed. The DDSM would circulate the Democratic Services email address to the Committee. Further consideration to be given to providing information and updates via: · Email group · Website · Facebook Community Groups · Networking with Parish Councils
Resolved: (1) That, subject to the following amendments, the Overview and Scrutiny Co-ordinating Group commented and approved the draft consultation process for the Overview and Scrutiny work programming process:
