RESOLVED that:

a)     The Panel requests that the planned workshop session on the 2021/22 Police and Fire & Rescue budget positions be held in-person at Darby House, Wellingborough, with an option for members to join remotely, on a date to be confirmed following the current meeting.

b)     The Panel agrees to use local authority venues in Northampton as the normal location for Panel meetings.

c)     The Panel agrees that independent co-opted members of the Panel should be paid an annual allowance of £500 from 2021/22, subject to confirmation of the provision of Police & Crime Panel grant funding to the host authority.

d)     The Panel endorses the outline work programme for 2021/22.

Urgent Business

The Chair to advise whether they have agreed to any items of urgent business being admitted to the agenda.

Exclusion of Press and Public

In respect of the following items the Chair may move the resolution set out below, on the grounds that if the public were present it would be likely that exempt information (information regarded as private for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1972) would be disclosed to them: The Panel is requested to resolve: “That under Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item(s) of business on the grounds that if the public were present it would be likely that exempt information under Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act of the descriptions against each item would be disclosed to them.”
